Cyber Threat Defender (CTD) tabletop card game tournaments are small, entry level events on a local scale. Initially held in San Antonio, Texas, these tournaments are open to all players ages 11+. Minimal entry fees are required to play, but players are provided with new CTD Starter Decks, play mats and other accessories that they keep at the end of the tournament. As a Swiss-style tournament, it functions as a non-eliminating tournament with a set number of rounds of competition. There are generally four to five rounds, which is typically determined by the number of tournament players. In Swiss-style rounds, competitors meet one-to-one and are paired using a set of rules designed to ensure that each competitor plays opponents with a similar overall score, but not the same opponent more than once. The winner is the competitor with the highest cumulative points earned in all rounds. All competitors play in each round unless there is an odd number of players. Below is a sample of the type of information you can share on your tournament pages, along with a snapshot of how a tournament schedule may appear. The tournament forms and fact sheet are available through the “Cyber Threat Defender Tournament Kit”.

Congratulations to our 2019 winners
